Biography

Beginning as a successful KART Racer, Roland Rehfeld moved into Automobil Sports in 1997. Since then, the native Berliner has become known in Germany and beyond as a jack-of-all-trades for his versatility and success in Formula Renault Racing, Formula 3 Racing, Porsche Sports Car Racing and former DaimlerChyrsler factory supported vehicles in the Super Race Truck Series.

His image in the German motorsport scene was substantiated in 2002 and 2003, when Roland Rehfeld became the sole German racer in the British Days of Thunder (DoT) oval racing series - winning some of the races there. Rehfeld`s outstanding performance in the DoT Oval Racing series and his ability to win against a field of internationally established touring car stars drew notice from the USA, especially within the NASCAR scene.

After a successful NASCAR Truck Test for DODGE Motorsport in 2005, he stepped up as the first foreign driver for the DODGE Driver Development program. He was able to show his potential in his first US Race in Milwaukee by finishing with an excellent performance as the best Rookie. Unfortunatelly the plan to establish Roland Rehfeld as the first foreign factory supported NASCAR Driver came to an end when DODGE's parent company Daimler and Chrysler divorced in 2006-2007.

His international experience with brands and factory teams, with the people on and beside the racetrack and his gentle eloquentical person, are sought after by premium brands like Mercedes-AMG, Porsche and Volkswagen. Roland Rehfeld is engaged in their worldwide, customer-focused, internal Sport and Driver Training programs. Auto and Car magazines from the Motor Presse Stuttgart are using his technical knowledge and driving abilities for testing and mesuring actual customer cars.

With successful wins from his first start at the 24th Race Nürburgring in 2008 to being a continuous top five finisher in Endurance and GT Races, Roland Rehfeld is able to continuously perform well - from Ovalracing to European Road Course Racing. In 2007 and 2008, he was the fastest guest driver in the highly competitive German Porsche Carrera Cup and in the ADAC GT Masters.

In 2009, he raised attention by winning five times in his class in the BF Goodrich Long Endurance Championship by driving a Corvette C6 SP GT Car against factory supported teams from Audi, Porsche, Lexus and BMW.

Roland Rehfeld is ambitious and focused, wanting to establish himself with winning performance on top of the rankings in the national and international GT Championships.
